Nina Powers, Adam Harper, Simon Reynolds, and Joe Muggs are all good writers at The Wire. Anyone with academic affiliations (I have some through work) might have access to the mag as an e-resource. Philip Sherbourne (I spelled that wrong) at Pitchfork is a good writer too and has decent taste. Will Lynch at Resident Advisor does thoughtful reviews and they recently staffed Holly Dicker who likes breakcore and harder stuff. I love the infrequent updates from this blog: http://earthexit.blogspot.com/ Really makes me miss a healthy blogosphere On Wed, Dec 12, 2018 at 2:43 PM Vets, Laurens <laurens@daemon.be> wrote:

Two sites that aren't traditional journalistic outlets, but who do a great job: Bandcamp.com has daily and weekly writeups of music on bandcamp. Joe Mugford writes for them regularly. Boomkat.com product descriptions are as informative (or more) than 'independent' reviews. They have a definite viewpoint and want you to buy the stuff they sell, but they are informative and entertaining. On Wed, Dec 12, 2018 at 1:28 AM David Newman <dwnewman@clara.co.uk> wrote:
